Accessibility
Statement.

A site about staying in motion should work for everyone reading it — including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, or reduced motion.

Our Commitment

We want every patient to be able to read this site, understand their options, and reach the practice — regardless of how they browse. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not a box checked at the end.

02

Conformance Status

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We consider it partially conformant: most of the standard is met, but the site has not been through a formal third-party audit, so some content may not yet fully comply. [update if a formal audit is completed]

What We’ve Built In

  • Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order, so screen readers can navigate by headings.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Labeled form fields, including the search and newsletter inputs.
  • Motion that respects your system's reduced-motion setting — scroll reveals and animations are skipped when you've asked for less movement.
  • Color combinations chosen for contrast, and text that reflows without loss of content when zoomed or viewed on a small screen.
04

Known Limitations

We know a few areas still need work, and we’re addressing them:

  • The interactive body-region selector on the Conditions page is a visual tool. Every condition it links to is also reachable as ordinary text and links on the same page.
  • Some clinical and anatomical terms are unavoidably technical. Where we can, we explain them in plain language alongside.
  • PDFs or documents produced by third parties may not meet the same standard as the pages here. [remove if no third-party PDFs are published]

Tell Us What’s Not Working

If you hit a barrier on this site, we want to hear about it — it’s the fastest way for us to fix it. Please tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days. [add accessibility contact email + phone]

If you need information from this site in a different format, ask and we will find a way to get it to you.

Ongoing Review

Accessibility is reviewed as the site changes, and this statement is updated when that review turns up something worth reporting.
